J & A Beare is delighted by the launch of Janine Jansen’s new album, “12 Stradivari”, which is out now on Decca Classics and can be purchased here.

This once-in-a-lifetime project, conceived by Steven Smith, Managing Director of Beare’s, brings together 12 of the finest Stradivari violins and allows Janine to capture the individual characteristics of each instrument through a specially curated repertoire, accompanied by Sir Antonio Pappano.

The story of this unique recording is beautifully portrayed in the documentary, “Janine Jansen: Falling for Stradivari” produced by Asterisk Films and premiered in London on 2nd September 2021.
